20 June 2017
Throughout this week, ANDS is celebrating international Love Your Data Week 2017 (13-18 Feb).
Love Your Data (LYD) is a campaign to raise awareness and build a community to engage on topics related to research data management, sharing, preservation, reuse, and library-based research data services.
The theme for Day 1 is Defining Data Quality.
Data quality is the degree to which data meets the purposes and requirements of its use. Depending on the uses, good quality data may refer to complete, accurate, credible, consistent or “good enough” data.
In addition to the information on the Love Your Data website, ANDS is suggesting other daily activities and resources to help you 'Love Your Data'.
- See how quality data makes a difference - read the #dataimpact eBook with stories about the real-life impact of Australian research data.
- Find out more about the role of provenance as one of the keys to ensuring data quality.
