17 February 2017
Throughout this week, ANDS is celebrating international Love Your Data Week 2017 (13-18 Feb).
Love Your Data (LYD) is a campaign to raise awareness and build a community to engage on topics related to research data management, sharing, preservation, reuse, and library-based research data services.
Today is the final day of the campaign for this year.
The theme for Day 5 is: Rescuing unloved data.
“Data that is mobile, visible and well-loved stands a better chance of surviving” (Kurt Bollacker, American computer scientist)
In addition to the information on the Love Your Data website, ANDS is suggesting other daily activities and resources to help you 'Love Your Data'.
- Learn some tips and tricks for responding to data queries and starting a data conversation.
- Check out different methodologies that can be applied during research data interviews.
Go to today's activities and resources on the Love Your Data week website to discover:
- message of the day
- things to consider
Thanks to everybody who has helped make Love Your Data Week a success - including the organising committee (mainly US-based researchers) who have done a great job putting it all together.
